Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady StantonA brief note to remind our readers that today is the (188th) birthday of Susan B. Anthony (shown here in discussion with her long-time friend and political associate, Elizabeth Cady Stanton).  In this frenetic primary season, it might be well to recall that Miss Susan B. Anthony was arrested in Rochester, NY, then her town of residence, for voting in the presidential election of 1872.  Perhaps we really have come some distance, after all.
