V-Day is an international movement to eliminate violence against women and girls

Violence against women and girls is a global problem, with local, religious, theological, liturgical, pastoral, scriptural, and intensely personal dimensions.

Violence against women and girls is a women’s issue, a human rights issue, a human issue, and a Christian issue.

The Women’s Center is organizing a production of Eve Ensler’s award-winning drama The Vagina Monologues, along with a week of special events that will focus on the problem of violence against women and girls, and will call special attention to the ways the community of faith has much to repent, and also much to offer in the struggle to end this violence.
