A Christmas shopping boon to the Louisville & Seminary community,

The Women’s Center’s annual
Fall Arts and Crafts Sale
Friday, December 5
Winn Center Lounge
Sale hours: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
(while supplies last)

Prices are always reasonable;
all proceeds benefit the Women’s Center at LPTS and its programs.

    Additional afternoon and evening events will include:
    Film: Until the Violence Stops
    to screen in McAtee A&B
    3:00-4:30 p.m.
    Organized by the “V is for Venite” Planning Group

    Informal Reception
    with light refreshments and beverages
    7:00 p.m. – clean up 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. back in the Women’s Center (as it turns out)

In preparation for the sale, we are
gratefully accepting donations
of beautiful, interesting, useful, or otherwise saleable hand-crafted items of all kinds.

Bring goods for inclusion in the sale to the Women’s Center (hours T-Fri, 12:30-2:00 p.m., or by appointment) by Thursday, December 4. [Earlier is better!]

We can use just about anything! In past years, the sale has included:

  • all manner of textiles . . .
  • painting, batik, pottery, carving, . . .
  • calligraphy, photography, printing, . . .
  • beads, braiding, . . .
  • note cards and other graphics . . .
  • baked goods . . .
  • eggs — courtesy of Carol Cook’s hens . . .

This year, who knows??

The Women’s Center wishes to thank all donors, helpers, and shoppers for making this year’s sale a resounding success! The sale netted just over $1,500 in purchases and donations, which will directly benefit the Women’s Center’s continuing presence and programs.
